- Uploaded documents (resumes in PDF format)

- Pages visited and time spent

- Device information
Information from third parties:
- If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google

- To create and manage your account
- To display your profile on the Talent page (if you opt in)
- To facilitate connections between co-founders and team members
- To process and display listings and applications
- To send transactional emails (application confirmations, interview scheduling)
- To improve our platform and user experience

4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following cases:
- Profile visibility: If you enable "Open to recruitment", your name, bio, skills, location, and optionally your resume are visible to other authenticated users on the Talent page
- Applications: When you apply to a listing, the listing owner can see your name, email, message, and resume
- Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email delivery) to operate our platform
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with Row Level Security policies. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. File uploads (resumes) are stored in encrypted cloud storage with access controls.
We implement security measures including HTTPS encryption, security headers, input validation, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and update: You can view and edit your profile information from your dashboard at any time
- Visibility controls: You can toggle "Open to recruitment" and "Public resume" on or off
- Delete your account: Contact us at contacts@foundry-x.io to request account deletion. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days
- Resume removal: You can delete your uploaded resume from your dashboard at any time
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
